A profile packages a group of apps with one shared rule. “Work” might protect Slack-free deep work from social feeds. “Sleep” might cover entertainment after 10:30 p.m. “Study” can have its own apps, days and limit. Activate, switch, edit or turn the profile off — all from the blocking screen.

To detect when a protected app opens and show the blocking screen, the Android version uses Accessibility access. Onboarding points to the exact system setting and asks you to enable it deliberately. PAUZEN is a productivity and digital-wellbeing tool; it is not presented as an accessibility aid or medical treatment.

Before you lock anything down
Can PAUZEN block more than one app at a time?
Yes. Select several apps and save them inside a profile with a shared daily limit, schedule and selected days.
Can I block only one app with its own time limit?
Yes. Choose the individual blocking path, select the app and save its specific rule. You do not need to create a profile.
What is the difference between an app rule and a profile?
An individual app rule applies to one app. A profile groups multiple apps under the same settings and can be activated or switched as a unit.
Can I temporarily leave a blocked app?
PAUZEN can provide an optional emergency exit. It uses a deliberate press-and-hold interaction and records the exit, so the way out is visible without making it an accidental tap.
Does PAUZEN read everything on my screen?
The blocking feature uses the permissions needed to detect protected apps and display its intervention. The public privacy policy explains the current handling of app data and permissions in detail.
