Protect the browser app
Add Chrome, Firefox or another installed browser to an individual rule or profile. PAUZEN treats it like any other protected application.
WEBSITE BLOCKING, WITHOUT THE FINE-PRINT MAGIC TRICK
PAUZEN can protect Chrome, Firefox or another browser as an app during a schedule, limit or focus session. Blocking individual web addresses is not part of the current Android MVP. When URL-level controls become available, PAUZEN will show which browsers and Android versions actually support them.
Call every future idea a finished feature. Nah. Clear limits beat shiny nonsense.
BROWSER APP PROTECTED
Chrome is out of reach.Your Deep Focus profile is active.FIRST, IDENTIFY THE DOOR
Those are different problems. If your work lives in the browser, blocking the complete app may remove tools you need. If every detour begins the moment you open it, protecting the browser app during a session can be the clearest current rule.
Add Chrome, Firefox or another installed browser to an individual rule or profile. PAUZEN treats it like any other protected application.
Per-site controls are planned, not part of the current MVP. Availability will be stated by browser and Android version before release.
The blocking screen shows the active profile or focus context, so browser protection does not feel random.
WHAT YOU CAN CONFIGURE NOW
Include a browser in Work, Study or Deep Focus when you do not need the web during that context.
Apply a custom use limit to the browser app rather than claiming to count time on each individual domain.
Keep the browser unavailable during a recurring work, class or bedtime window.
Apply the browser rule only on the days that need it instead of enforcing one rigid week.
Attach a configured blocking profile to an objective so that profile activates when its focus session begins. Its saved limit and schedule still apply.
The protected screen can keep your active objective visible and point you back toward it.
PER-SITE CONTROL: COMPATIBILITY BEFORE PROMISES
URL-level blocking can behave differently across browser apps, Android versions and permission models. PAUZEN will not imply universal support. When this layer ships, the app and public documentation will name supported environments, required permissions and known limitations.
The supported browser and Android combinations are tested instead of assumed.
PAUZEN states whether a rule protects the whole browser, a supported address or neither.
When per-site control is unavailable, app-level browser protection remains the honest option.
CURRENT MVP, IN ONE SENTENCE
This page explains the search problem people call “website blocking” while keeping the product claim precise. The Google Play listing will describe only functionality available in the published build.
